Thanks loco.loco and anon. I'm drafting a letter to both the Zeta Psi leadership and the owner.

Decided to go right to the problem, but since the tenants have not responded after three months, I just mailed a letter to a contact at ZP Nutmeg. Let's wait and see.

As I pointed out in my letter, although I presented this as a problem, it could eventually become an opportunity to showcase that beautiful property which sits in the middle of one of New Haven's busiest intersections. (I wonder how many thousands pass it each day)?

i heard that they are renovating the house and hopefully will be addressing the blight issues.

That's good news Doug as I have still not gotten a response from either tenant or landlord.

This is the kind of scummy behavior that regularly occurs at one of New Haven's busiest intersections. It's always nice when you're getting ready to leave town, and you have to get gas before you go, of course you stop at the shell station right next door and get a nice view of the frat house with trash covering the front and back yard. It's our way of saying thanks for visiting, see you next time!

I always thought this house was abandoned as well, not sure about who goes there but $$$$ bet it's YALE....hopefully they will see your post and clean it up....and if they cant keep it clean maybe they would be willing to donate the location for the homeless in New Haven
