If 2nd street is going to be down to 1 lane due to poor road conditions I think there needs to be a police detail there to direct traffic, right now you just have two directions of traffic playing chicken with each other

Mary, the road is being repaired by City Services. There are no deep holes just patches and you will have to drive over them and remain within the marked lanes. The City is looking to do a complete repaving and is looking at funding sources for that. Until then people need to slow down and drive carefully.
