Description
The construction crew has raised the grade of Wellington Court by haphazard patching of the asphalt and has caused a permanent ponding condition in front of my house. This will lead to mosquito breeding in summer and hazardous ice in winter. (The same condition exists in front of 23 Wellington Court, as well.)

Please see DOT response: IFO 36 Wellington Court between Rugby Road & the Dead End was inspected for ponding on 5/25/11, 48 hours after the rain on 5/23/11. At the time of inspection, no ponding conditions were found in front if either address. Since all water had dissipated within 48 hours, no action is warranted.

This is a ponding issue; the responding person clearly observed the situation much more than 48 hours after the rain. If they want to slip this shoddy work by I will not be a party to it by doing nothing. I am contacting my Council Member about this. It is just this kind of laissez fair attitude about substandard infrastructure that is ruining this City. I intend to do my part in bringing this shoddy work to the attention of persons who can remedy it.
