Description

A new sidewalk was put in 1700 block of Massachusetts Avenue on the North-side of the street. However, there are two sidewalk rectangles with cracking. I find this unusual since this new sidewalk was just installed this past Fall 2014. The cracking sidewalk is in two sidewalk rectangles -- one of which includes a manhole cover just in front of 1742 Massachusetts Ave SE. Is it normal for sidewalk to crack a few months after installation? Perhaps the contractor should fix? I can and will email pictures to DDOT if helpful.
