Description

This light backs up traffic on Mt. Vernon ALL THE TIME. It turns red for Mt. Vernon even when no one is on Village Parkway waiting to turn, and then the green arrow comes on for the traffic going east up Mt. Vernon when no one is even waiting to turn! This backs up traffic constantly! This light should be green on Mt. Vernon all the time and ONLY turn red if someone is on the Parkway waiting to turn. I would also suggest it be green CONSTANTLY for Mt. Vernon during evening rush hour and no left turn from the Parkway for a few hours to alleviate congestion on Mt. Vernon. People on the Parkway have another way they can go during that time and it would IMMENSELY help relieve the huge traffic congestion problem we have on Mt. Vernon during rush hour.
