I am Sergeant Ron Simmons of the Alameda Police Department's Traffic Section. My Abandoned Vehicle (AV) Technician is well aware of the vehicle and wants to assure you that the vehicle is not abandoned. My AV Tech has been monitoring this vehicle closely and can assure you that right now that vehicle is no longer on Minturn St. My AV Tech will continue to closely monitor the vehicle and the different locations it is seen and process it appropriately.
In the future, you can call our Abandoned Vehicle Hotline (337-8587) and leave the information there. All vehicles are checked and processed Monday through Thursday first thing in the morning.
