The sign with the graffiti is not a city sign but one associate with the State Facility located at that location. Since it is gang related, the issue has been turned over to the PD. Per Chief Yandura:
"We will send one of our officers to the State Building today to have them clean up the sign or remove it. We haven’t had any contact with the gang associated with the tagging in this area, but the sign itself is enough to cause concern as you relayed. The painting is from a Chicago based gang called La Raza 13 and is rival to SUR 13 which has been in the Buford Hwy Corridor."

Per the PD, the state facility has removed the graffiti from the signs and have said that they will check their signs more often.
Thanks
