between madison and monroe on williams street the garbage and old furniture are in the street, you turn off madison on to williams street and it is a disgrace. What happened to the policy of trash cans kept in your yard off the streets. Absentee landlords??? where's code enforcment?

Code enforcement can't / won't even take care of the 100's of city owned abandoned buildings in Troy.
Do you really think they're going to bother contacting an absentee landlord about misplaced trash cans and some garbage? Don't hold your breath!
Contact your councilman and have him look into the issue. That's why you voted them in. If they ignore the problem or "glad-hand" you (as some often do), vote them out in the upcoming election.
