Description
The sidewalk in front of our house is in major disrepair. The trees roots have pushed it up several slabs on many different angles. We notified you last year about the issue, and a small amount of asphalt was added which made the sidewalk worse. We were told that the city would send someone out to look at the tree causing the problem. Instead the case was closed, stating it had been fixed. It was not. Now that the weather has finally broke, we would greatly appreciate some type of action that would fix the issue.

Richmond Sidewalk Mgmt Team (20020915453) finished out inspection for this location and noted as of 8/30/2013 that 1-5ft X 40ft section of sidewalk will need repair. The tentative schedule for completion is before September 2020. Please understand that SeeClickFix is setup for quick fixes in the City of Richmond that can take place more immediately once entered onto SeeClickFix. Sidewalk maintenance most times will take more than one year or two years for maintenance to take place once the safety inspection/patch is executed. This is due to the size of the crew and the volume of tickets that must be prioritized and worked. The project is pending for action. Please call the Richmond Customer Care Center at 646-7000 with the request number so that updates and follow through can take place
