Description
how about a do not block entrance sign behind target where the trucks pull in. those of us that go that way have to block traffic that's turning in to go to the shopping center to wait to be able to turn behind target to get to macy's ect... so that we can avoid traffic issues on our way to work.

nothing has been done,I see vehicles waiting to make a left hand turn behind the target to get around going through the main parking lot and stores, The entrance gets blocked by vehicles waiting to make a right hand turn on Mercury Blvd, so the cars waitin to turn left block traffic that is waiting to turn.
the property manager was contacted via a letter, and no response.

Over on the right side of the page just above the map there is a link that says "where did this report go?" if you click it the City of Hampton is NOT listed as a watcher anymore. Hampton removed them selves from the monitoring of this site a year ago. You can yell and spout off all you want on this "free blog" but its just that the city no longer monitors due to wasted man power from inadequate information provided. If you want to see good done in your city then pick up a phone or take 2 min to email the city departments directly for resolution of the issues.

It seems that you are very active and involved in this city,(as well as va beach, norfolk, newpoet news, ect) as I see in all your postings. In all of your postings, you only tell people to close the issue, or tell them to report it in another way then this site. This site was created for citizens to report issues to the city in a effective and efficient manner. Why are you so set against this site working? From what I have read, it seems that all of the Hampton Roads cities use an online reporting system as one way for people to report issues that need to be addressed, explained, or just fixed. Please stop the useless banter, and let the site work as it is intended. Despite your efforts, it works well. The post from Newport News Traffic department proves that.

Issue repair offices can you please tell me what your office number is and how I may contact you directly. Also last I checked the city has cut its funding to its development budget to include the town center project. But they do not own town center I have checked all over the city website and it is mentioned about shopping and zoning plans but no where does the city say they own town center This was taken directly from Peninsula Town center website made by the owner and developer:

As this is private property please contact the property managers for town center directly to address parking or traffic issues inside of the shopping center. The only time City of Hampton would intervene is if there is a significant traffic crash problem inside the shopping center. Also having traveled in and around the site numerous times the entrance by target is the dedicated truck entrance to the shopping center.
