This keeps happening. Is there a sign posted that says you cannot park for more than 72 hours?
Is there proof that cars have been there for a week or is someone with no life tying up our resources posting?
It's definitely the latter. The purpose if the 72 hour ordinance is to remove abandoned cars, not target neighbors who are being environmentally conscious by not driving everyone single day. Unfortunately, transportation has to respond to complaints regardless of how wasteful.
I have been mystified by these posts; I live at this address and as far as I know, no one at 869 orange is upset by these cars. The Tiguan had a flat tire.
Someone seems very het up about this but I don't know why.
Sadly common sense has remained as uncommon as was in the early 18th century. Although additional signs might seem a solution, do we really want our poles as convoluted as NYCs explaining every nuance of ordinance but decipherable by few? I think we should pose the question to the poster what truly is the nature of their complaint and why is this a problem?
The Parking Division has addressed this issue. All vehicles found in violation have been ticketed and towed. If this continues to be a problem, you may re-open or report as a new issue in the Parking Violation/Abandoned Auto category. Thank you.

It would be more responsible and require some level of common sense to request signs be posted.
You would think being environmentally conscious is a good thing. Perhaps a private island is what the poster requires.
We leave our car parked for months, walking, taking shuttle or bus.
