2-4 Harding Terrace Kearny, New Jersey
There is a silver Honda Hatchback (mid-late 90’s) that has been parked in the same spot for about two months without moving. The vehicle appears to be disabled and the owner has made no attempts to remove it from the street. I’m appalled that the parking authority has allowed this to go on for this long. The residents in this area have a tough time finding parking as it is, without this individual taking advantage of the situation. If the car does not work, it should be removed from the street immediately. Furthermore, the street has not been cleaned in all this time because the vehicle prohibits the street cleaners from passing through. The residents of this area pay a lot of money in taxes and the streets should be cleaned regularly. The car is parked on William St. between Wilkinson Terrace and Harding Terrace. Please look into this matter as soon as possible.
7 South Midland Ave Kearny, NJ
It is ridiculous how many cars continue to block or partially block my driveway without the town of Kearny doing a @#$% thing. Cops pass by my home several time and not once have they ever issued a ticket for vehicles that are blocking or partial blocking my driveway (this is not the first time and won't be the last based on the lack of rule enforcing). What gives? I pay taxes like the rest of the residents and deserve to be able to pull into my driveway freely (not at an angle to avoid an illegally parked vehicle)

20 Spruce St Kearny, New Jersey
Veterans Park on Hickory and Spruce St has trees that have been growing onto the property at 20 Spruce St. Some of the branches touch and scrape the house. The other branches have grown into the yard and other areas of the home. These branches need to be cut.
225 5th Street Jersey City, NJ 07302, USA
The sewer on the southwest corner of Erie and 5th street needs to be cleared. Every rain it backs up. There is a drain on each of the four corners of this intersection and the other three drain properly. There is clearly something preventing proper drainage here. This was reported on seeclickfix a year ago. Also reported to JC RRC on 6/14/2014 -see photo. With storm season coming up, I would like to see some urgency placed on this issue.
The drain was full to the top yesterday while all the others were draining fine.
320-328 Forest Street Kearny, NJ 07032, USA
I'm not sure what to do. I live in an apt building, 324 Forest St. and in another apt the occupants smoke marijuana every evening and it seeps into my apt and my whole apt smells of this. I have complained to the property manager but nothing was done. I am sick of this nasty smell in my house and I dont want my children breathing this in. What can I do about it?
Bergen Avenue Kearny, New Jersey
We have lived at the bottom of Bergen avenue for close to 7 years. We love Kearny and we are happy to be raising our two under the age of five children here. The problems we are faced with are not only people blasting their radios, blaring their horns and cursing accompanied with road rage at ALL and I mean ALL hours of the night, the fire trucks that pass here at LEAST 3 times a day AND 3 times a night blare their sirens and horns when they get RIGHT in front of our house!! The entire house shakes and best of all my ENTIRE FAMILY is woken up at all hours of the night and during mid day naps. We KNOW it's a very busy intersection but is it necessary to be that excessive on the horns and sirens? Maybe a short horn and the lights would be suffice in the middle of the night? I know the situation can at times be an emergency but people do live, raise children, pay rent/mortgage here and like to sleep so they can go to work in the morning!
31 Hillside Avenue Kearny, New Jersey
There is a wasp/hornet hive at a tree in front of 33 Hillside Avenue, which is the neighbor next door. However, 33 Hillside Avenue is vacant and after contacting the bank that owns the house, I was told this is a town issue as the tree is curbside.
I'm concerned because I'm allergic to bees, and I suspect wasps as well. I have a 10 month baby as well which makes me uncomfortable taking him for a stroll. I only noticed this issue this Sunday afternoon (8/24) because there were a couple of wasps buzzing around in my front steps.
Please send someone from animal control to rectify this situation.
