While in my front yard last week, two black men turned the corner, heading west on Milton, a skinny middle aged white male on a bicycle came from the west direction. They met up in the middle of the street and the man on the bike handed a package to the 2 black men, who walked back the way they came (in the middle of the street), they then disappeared, (must have had a vehicle waiting) the man on the bike headed north on Ford. Drug deal right there in front of me. Also I have seen a hooker walking the area-I bought a home in HP hoping for the best-but the neighborhood has been on the decline-all the foreclosures, Cheaper rents and "section 8 welcome" The citizens DO NOT want this crime going on-it is not welcome.

while watering my lawn (live on corner, west of John R, North of 8 mile) 2 black men were walking in the middle of the street heading west, a middle aged white male on a ten-speed rode up from the west direction. He met with the 2 black men and gave them a small package-a drug hand off/deal right in from of me. the 2 black men then walked back in the direction they came from-they must have had a car waiting because as I called police and crossed the street they were gone. Also there have been some hooker activity in the area. We are trying hard to have a nice neighborhood, and this kind of activity is not good. We want this fixed. Littering is a major issue as well. The neighborhood has been on a decline for a while, now that the homes are foreclosing, rents are cheaper and section 8 is "welcome"...people need to NOT litter, and understand we do not want drugs and hookers in our city. It may not be the best city, but it is ours and we live in it. There are many homeowners that WILL not tolerate this kind of activity. Criminals NOT welcome.
