1611-1621 S Cameron St Harrisburg, PA 17104, USA
This location, where the Capital Area Greenbelt cross Cameron St., has a simple painted crosswalk. It is chronically ignored by speeding drivers even when pedestrians are present. This location would benefit from an upgraded flashing crosswalk to ensure pedestrians can safely cross while vehicle yield to them.

Vaughn And Front Street Harrisburg, PA
There is an urgent need for a crosswalk at this intersection to allow bicyclists and pedestrians to cross the 4 lanes of traffic. The Capital Area Greenbelt crosses the street at this point, and the end of the path along riverfront is also at this point. Riverfront is one of the greatest assets of the city of Harrisburg, yet it effectively discourages it's use by having not a single crosswalk along the entire north front street section for almost 3 miles. Crosswalks with flashing lights would also slow traffic in a problem area for aggressive driving. There is a worn/fadded bike crossing sign but, No painted cross markings!!!

2200 Market St Harrisburg, PA
Crosswalk signs in the middle of Market St are gone. The west end sign was removed to the side of the road. The east end sign was run over and destroyed.
These signs are critical to designating the crosswalks at the school. An eight year old boy was killed here a year and a half ago.

A traffic study is needed for Market St between 21st St and Hale Ave. The flashing school speed limit signs (15 mph) need to be removed now that the school has relocated. Although there are three 25 mph speed limit signs east bound, there are no signs west bound. Other new signs and crosswalks should be addressed.
