Our neighborhood really needs help on this issue. For several years, we have called Metro Codes and the Health Department regarding a deserted home in our neighborhood. The yard is a field. A tree fell on the roof and created a hole for rain to pour in. Animals have made it their home. Children play around the house. Vandals are next. What has to happen for the property owner to take responsibility? Does someone have to get hurt? Someone torch the place and cause harm to surrounding homes? I don't get it. We take care of our homes and respect the neighborhood, others should do the same. PLEASE someone hold the owner responsible and have him make the appropriate repairs or here's an idea.... SELL IT! It once was an adorable house. I know several decent families who would take care of it and call it their home.
Thanks! Thanked!1300 Saturn Drive nashville, TN
The house has been vacant for quite some time, the windows are broken out, sliding glass door in back broken out, front door busted in, huge fallen tree branch laying on the roof, may be some roof damages, overgrown yard, it appears to be a place for homeless people.

There is an enormous amount of unauthorized dumping along Old Glenrose Rd-trash, building debris, piles of old tires (possibly from a nearby shop). Is there any way to clean this up? There are cameras and signage to indicate that this is not permitted, although it is generally questioned by residents if the cameras really work. Additionally, it looks as if this street is in serious need of landscaping attention-some trees are overgrown to the point of obstructing the road. I think this is Metro owned land since it lies along Mill Creek. The residents of this community with whom I've spoken and my household would really appreciate anything that could be done.
