For 10 years, this corner property has been a hazard because of weeds, open doors & windows, debris in yard & now construction debris from demolition of porch. Vermin are around the building, & broken drainage provides standing pools of water.

Several abandon houses, that are just crack dens for crack users need to be either torn down or renovated into livable properties. These properties have been this way for years, and it is a shame, that the city allows this type of behavior from slumlords to go on.Clearly,no one cares.

2 black males loiter on school property across from the sav-a-lot all day long. They drive dark colored SUVs usually seen parked 1/2 on the sidewalk.
I don't know if they're hack taxi drivers or what but they don't belong here. They leave the area trashed when they leave. Who knows whether they're permitted to be anywhere near the vicinity of school children.
5500 Block Of Matthews St Philadelphia, PA - Germantown
Why are we be bombarded with hand bills and menus from various eateries in the neighborhood or not in the neighborhood they are put in empty houses thrown on peoples steps abandon houses etc. This is an ongoing problem and contributes to litter. This is not done in center city or chestnut hill I constantly have to sweep in front of my door and others to get this paper up. Something should be done about this. When you talk to the people who hand them out they pay you know attention or they put it in your door anyway.

Pulaski Partners' paving contractors dumped a mound of asphalt on the mastery charter sidewalk weeks ago. This limits pedestrian egress and is a hazard to motorists as the pile sits in the shoulder of the roadway.
Attn: L&I : Please remove the asphalt and cite the responsible parties with short dumping.

Southbound on rittenhouse, adjacent to the southwest corner of the intersection in the shoulder area, the roadway is buckled. this is a safety hazard for cyclists.
The PWD also failed to remove the debris from the adjacent crosswalk post storm. This debris originated uphill on wissahickon the past 2 times their patch up job failed. PWD, please maintain your park

Two wire mesh trash containers were noticed missing this morning (7/30/11) from the NW and SE corners of Germantown and Coulter Streets. It is not known if they were stolen or if the Streets/Sanitation Dept. removed them.

The entire area is covered in car parts following Sunday's accident. I'd like to believe this would get cleaned up by the city, but that type of thing doesn't happen in this area without some prodding.
Please remove the car parts from the northeast corner, the northwest corner, and the roadway.
Please repair the fire hydrant.

The gas station at rittenhouse and pulaski is covered in graffiti and loaded with trash.
It has been surrounded with 'temporary' construction fence for at least 2 years and is a serious eyesore.
The fence falls over a few times a month leaving the structure accessible to children.
If after over 6 years the owner refuses to raze the structure, he could at very least cover the graffiti and clean up the trash.
For a history of this property see:
Rittenhouse St And Morris St Philadelphia, PA - Germantown
Emperian Luxury Towers has failed to remove leaves and trash which have accumulated along the sidewalk along its property on Rittenhouse St between Morris St and the A-Plus.
This leaves little room for pedestrians to walk. It also obscures the foot deep trench which has developed between the sidewalk and curb which is also a hazard to sidewalk users.
4626 Newhall St Philadelphia, PA - Germantown
Over the past years, the 4600 block of Newhall St has become a dumping ground for stolen & abandoned vehicles. There is a burgundy Chevy Caprice Classic (94-95), all are tires flat sitting on the curb for 3 months in front of 4615 Newhall St. There is an abandoned residence (4626 Newhall St) and people have been dumping & abandoning there cars (3+ thus far) behind it. A beige Toyota Corolla was dumped in front of my elderly neighbors garage (4634 Newhall St), and has been blocking it for over 6 months now. Help is needed to remove these abadoned vehicles ASAP.

A vacant lot on the east side of Gemantown Ave. 5300 Block between Church Lane and Coulter St. has remained littered with trash and debris for years and is a short dumping site. This issue was reported in March 2011 and was being monitored for progress but it appears that it has not been resolved. The owner of the property was supposed to clean up the lot but no action has been taken and his (or her) refusal to take responsibility for this property is beyond negligence. This is defiance. The city was supposed to clean the lot and bill the owner for the clean-up by Labor Day. What happened?

This buildings collapse is accelerating and leaning toward the driveway of the adjacent property (136W Price).
140 W Price has been neglected and vacant for at least 11 years!
For the past 3 years the present owner of this blighted building has stood by allowing its decay.
The risk of collapse is eminent!
All interior floors have collapsed into the basement and it is at great risk of falling down.
The owner has been recently dumping construction debris from other jobsites in the side yard.
THIS IS A CRUMBLING RISKY STRUCTURE!
Local children living on the street can get access to the crumbling house.
We as concerned neighbors need HELP!!!
