this house has not shoveled their walk since BEFORE the blizzard! The pile on the sidewalk cannot be raveled on by foot. Please, proper city agency, deal with this
Even the schools don't shovel, Quinnipiac Schools has a entire side walk NEVER SHOVELED ON THE Quinnipiac Avenue side. I have a 50 ft sidewalk that I shovel for the kids at the school. Every time the plow comes by, the entire sidewalk is covered because my street is to narrow. I think that there are many old people who cannot shovel and then their are the lazy ones. So tell me how do we handle this.....I am 66 and crippled and I still do it, so who knows!!!!!!!!
Then consider the pending lawsuits from pedestrian injuries both against the city and homeowner insurance companies!
YALE has a program where volunteers will shovel for you if needed.
How is that?
City sidewalk icy dangerous
Ice on sidewalk at the end of Lexington ave an Russell
