  • Illecillewaet River Revelstoke BC, Canada - Revelstoke

The left bank upstream side of the pedestrian bridge is getting hammered pretty hard with the spring runoff.

It might prudent to explore bank armoring solutions for the future to prevent increasing scour and undercutting of the bridge footing

I would love to see a walking bridge above the train tracks at Mackenzie and Victoria. With new builds happening in Clearview Heights and increased traffic, this would be a huge improvement for residents as well as those who want to access the trails.

About 25% down the bridge there is a very loose board, on the city side (closest to Douglas)

I suggest you get the company that did the work on the illecillwaet River bridge to come back and fix the entrance into town. There is nasty pot hole there already and it is quite the pot hole and it’s very hard your car.

Illecillewaet River Dredging is starting. There is considerable erosion on the south side of the Kingsbury bridge abutment and in the near future this abutment, the bridge, and the river trail will be compromised at considerable cost to the taxpayers and the environment. Gravel from the dredging should be placed at this location from river bed elevation to the top of the trail to protect this area from future erosion. Elevating the trail would also prevent it from flooding when the Arrow Reservoir is full. The north side of the bridge upstream bank and trail were protected with gravel the last time the dredging occurred and this has worked effectively at no cost to the taxpayers. The City should demand that BC Hydro utilize some of the gravel from the dredging to fix this erosion problem caused by the operation of the Arrow Reservoir.

  • Big Eddy Rd & Nixon Rd Revelstoke, BC, V0E, CAN - Revelstoke

Wondering why the sign to notify commercial trucks about the Big Eddy Bridge Restrictions was removed from the bottom of the hill on Big Eddy side
I’ve witnessed three trucks this past week having to back down the hill creating a great deal of chaos
    With impatient people (traffic) pedestrian's,bikes,children
I’m concerned for the safety of the many people who have had to encounter this unnecessary an avoidable occurrence

Please put a sign back at the crossroad of Nixon an Big Eddy Rd
Save these truck drivers from having to find out the hard way

    Thank you

Plowed Snow on Bridge makes the bridge too narrow to meet a logging truck or other large vehicle

Double fire on the go right now. One in front yard other farther in the back. Smells like they are burning a ton of garbage again. The property is known for it. Not sure what it will take to finally put an end to this.
  • Camozzi Rd Columbia Shuswap, BC, V0E, CAN - Columbia-Shuswap B
Burning is taking place everyday at the Cabot golf course location on Camozzi, although the Ventilation Index for BC has shown on many days that burning is not allowed on poor ventilation days. The burning/smoke is taking place about 1km away from the Arrow Heights Elementary school. Can the bylaw officers check on this site whenever burning is not permitted as per the Ventilation Index. Thank you.

really heavy smoke pollution at the moment, back yard fire? Think all backyard burning should be banned given how dangerous it is to the elderly and the location of this smoke.
