We have been trying for 3 years to correct the problem caused from the storm drain from the ball field dumping water into our front property. There is also an issue with the street collapsing next to the storm drain. This issue is causing a marsh area and a major mosquito problem. It is unlawful for the city to cause damage to my property, I have given 3 years for this to be addressed which is more than enough time. Please address this problem.

This sewer cap seems to have broken off the pipe. It was buried in the asphalt, likely dislodged by snow plows.

A few weeks ago, folks complained about the poor quality of the sidewalk plowing; a link can be found here: https://seeclickfix.com/issues/2130309-sanding-plowing-issue

The problem has not only happened again, but it has gotten much, much worse. There are several areas of the sidewalk where large swaths of turf 3-4" deep have been removed. This is not only damaging the turf, but also damaging nearby landscaping on some properties where several pounds of dirt have now harmed ornamental plants. There are also areas where pieces of the sidewalk have been ripped up by the auger and spewed onto homeowners properties -- this is not just an isolated case, rather there are several on this one street.

This original issue was said to be due to a "combination of the sidewalk plow operator being a novice as well as there being no frost in the ground". Given this is the 2nd occurrence of the problem, and it appears to be getting worse, can someone tell us "Was the operator trained in how to navigate the sidewalks?"

This has not happened in past years, so perhaps the DPW should also examine whether any changes have been made to the equipment? For example, have the skids been inspected and properly adjusted? Can the skids be adjusted to offer a little more forgiveness if the operator continues to run astray or encounters small heaves in the pavement?

Please resolve the issue or STOP the process until it can better controlled.

Hello I live at 56 Western Ave and my next door neighbor is at 60. My question would be I have 2 big pine trees that sit on the property in between us both and are on piece of property that was Birch St at on time. The limbs of this tree limbs need to be trimmed or cut down. Would like someone to call at number above to see what we can do.

A few weeks ago I submitted a tree problem issue at this site and was told that the issue was "closed" as The Town of West Boylston was planning on assessing tree issues near streets. I tried to be patient, but early this morning one of the dead ash trees, on the abandoned neighboring property I was referring to, broke and fell in my front yard barely missing my house and landing squarely where my kids were playing only 14 hours earlier. Please see attached picture. Needless to say this is more than a bit unsettling. There are several more dead trees that need to be removed IMMEDIATELY before someone gets hurt or worse. Please feel free to call me at anytime through the number supplied.
