    Every morning there are several trucks blocking the bike lane on Piedmont Avenue in North Oakland, especially in the SW-bound lane, NE of Rio Vista Ave (photo shows three trucks in a single, short stretch). This creates a danger both to people on bicycles having to merge out of the bike lane, as well as to pedestrians as the view of the crosswalk is compromised by this double parking.

    Please ticket any double parkers parking or waiting in the bike lanes on Piedmont Ave. If there are no loading zones for trucks then please ask them to only make deliveries late at night or in the very early morning when there is little bike traffic.
