City of Oakland - OLD PLUS

Household trash on curb. Perhaps residents moved out of house. Trash has been there about one week.

Traffic driving southeast on embarcadero doesn't have a stop sign, and I have witnessed multiple cars speed up to cross before pedestrians enter the cross walk. Today I was walking with a baby and the traffic stopped to allow me to cross in the cross walk, but someone behind the initial stopped car, who couldn't see me, was frustrated and after honking a few times then passed illegally around the car allowing the pedestrians to cross. Needless to say I was lucky that I wasn't directly in front of them or I and my child would have been needlessly struck. A stop sign would remedy this issue.

There is a pigeon hanging out in the area that has two dart gun darts sticking out of his body -- one in the neck and one in the rear. He is alive and able to move but needs help. I have tried to catch him on two separate days and not been able to. I have called Children's Fairyland and the Rotary Wildlife Center but they have not been able to help. I know that there's not a lot of sympathy out there for pigeons, but this bird is suffering because of a cruel human.

We have been getting our trash picked up from behind 1900 Fruitvale Ave on 33rd Ave. When the trash is picked up on 33rd Ave, the streets are so narrow that the WM Driver cannot make the turn to get access to the dumpster. We have done everything we can on our end to make sure that WM can access the gates Mondays and Thursdays. Supervisor from WM and I spoke & agreed that this is out of both of our hands, because we can’t tell people not to park near the driveway (It’s their right to park there). This is more of a city issue and we felt that we could get approved for a city exemption. We don't have the extra funds to pay WM driver to pull the dumpster to the curbside, nor have someone pull a 500+ Lbs. dumpster to the curb. We would like to apply for the city exemption for WM to pull the dumpsters out if they cannot access the driveway.

this is a filthy junk yard
why is a junk yard allowed to be in a residential neighborhood?

I think the city placed this trash can which we appreciate but the grass is very overgrown around it...city issue or personal property issue to resolve?

Water bubbling up between Bart garage and adjacent house. Draining out down street

Two pair of Shoe on the Street electric wires directly in front of this property causing sparks during windy or raining days. Please have it removed before transformer cut on fire and electric service disruptions happen in this block. You need a cheery picker truck.
