Shepard/ Cattle Dog (?) mix is often left out in a backyard behind the house / former Chiropractic office. Wooden fencing has several broken/missing pickets allowing the dog to escape on multiple occasions according to neighbors. Dog charged and attempted to attack my girlfriend/dog while they were walking past on Monday 5/16, as of 5/25 fence is still unsecured.

The front door of 422 Pearl street has been boarded up for almost a year. This makes the neighborhood look rundown and unsightly. This is a Beal property.

So, the last submission we made was closed, but the house and its situation are only getting worse. Substantial trash all over the property, people coming and going constantly, and the house seems to be being dismantled, the squatters have been taking everything out of it and taking down the fence, etc, but the owner seems to be missing. Would be great if the city secured the property. This is a health and safety issue.

Dangerous electrical work inside the Deja Vu building with a power cable dangling from an open circuit breaker panel and hanging across the doorway.

The homeowner on file with the City, Robert Freedman, is the father of Ben Freeds. Ben lived in the house with his girlfriend Shelby Lawson. They broke up and now the girlfriend is living in the house with another man, Hans Slay, who previously was swatting in the garage with others.

This property is dangerous to everyone. No one knows what may be in this garage. God forbid a child wanders in there and is seriously harmed.

When the owner done moved out, the now ex girlfriend and the squatter Hans began tearing down the fence and emptying the house. Now they seem to be living in the house itself.

The neighborhood has filed at least a hundred complaints here, the police are out to the house on regular basis, the U.S. Marshalls, yes that's right, kicked in the garage door and arrested a man squatting there. All of this and yet nothing gets done. If something is being done, it is not evident to anyone in the neighborhood.

When is the City going to acknowledge the issue to the neighborhood Where is Evan Sweet to support the neighborhood. You were elected by the residents of Ypsilanti and it's time to step in and do your job. WE are the residents and tax payers here yet nothing is being done to protect US! This has gone on far too long.

My (basement level apartment) has detected radon levels between 5 and 9.13 pCl/L. The testing went on for three weeks for averages of around 7 to 8 every day. Ive lived in this apartment for about 9 months and worried about my health staying here with dangerous radon levels. The apartment has looked into mitigation systems but so far the owner of River Drive Apts- Wilson White Company has not been moving quickly on this issue. Please call Willson White and urge them to fix this issue.
If they cannot fix it quickly, I would like them to offer me an alternative unit at the same price. They have offered for me to change to a luxury apartment worth $300 more a month. This seems greedy and I feel taken advantage of as a tenant- especially since I was not informed that the unit Id be living in was a basement apt when I signed the lease.
Ive spent two months fighting for action on this issue and the owner is dragging his feet. Id like to wirh hold rent until this issue is fixed.

Deep, pervasive mold with serious water damage and sagging basement, foundation. Owner is trying to sell this abandoned building with zero remediation and it’s unsafe and uninhabitable. It should probably be condemned or at least inspected by the city.
