Issues: animal problem
East Rock Park New Haven, CT
The paved path that runs from Summit Drive to State St. is covered w/ horse manure. Once in a great while, I see someone riding in the park. I carry a plastic bag to clean up after my dogs little droppings. Horse folk need to take responsibility for the mega turds they leave behind. Certainly turned me off to the idea of polo in the park.
1400 Block State St New Haven, CT
caucasion woman mid 20s working as a prostitute in area. also have seen her numerous times with different males using drugs about 30 yards up the bishop gate of east rock. if anyone walks by that area it stands out with litter of condom wrappers ,cans broken in 2 and burnt from cooking drugs,beer bottles, and napkins.in the past week while using the park with my children and dogs we happened upon them 3 or 4 times.also have seen HER coming and going from 1412 state st, which is a group home for registered sex offenders upto 10 men live there at any given time.dont know what a prostitute is doing there,or if the state should know about it.;
54 Cottage St New Haven, CT 06511
We tried to call police but they said they will not get the dogs unless they look vicious.
Animal Shelter was all full.
If anybody can come get these guys, one is a baby and the other is an adult.
Edwards/Orange St New Haven, CT
I have been out walking recently and it appears no one picks up after their dogs anymore. On the sidewalk, on the grass- I spotted 5 piles of you-know-what on a 30 minute walk. There are 2 huge piles right outside my front door, and we don't have dogs! Please pick up, people!!
Orange & Avon New Haven, CT
There is a potentially live and dangerous wire down near the sidewalk on Avon Street between Orange and Livingston. It has been there since December 17- now over two weeks! United Illuminating refuses to remove it, saying it is not their wire. This is an area where dogs are walked and children play. More snow could potentially hide the wire, causing someone to accidently be shocked or electrocuted. It's easy to find...just look for the Volvo that has been parked 2+ feet from the curb for over a week.
36 Bishop St New Haven, CT 06511, USA
There is an owner who doesnt walk their dog on a leash according to CT's leash law. Also, no one is picking up after their dogs in this area!! We need a "pick up after your dog" sign because asking the owners to pick up after their dogs isnt working!!
