Thanks! Thanked!43 Thorndike Street Cambridge, MassachusettsThis is a request for a Ped Xing sign to be added to the intersection of 3rd and Thorndike. This intersection is already raised, so cars must slow down. As a direct pedestrian route to CambridgeSide Galleria and other points near Lechmere, a signed crosswalk would be good to have here. Thank you.

THIS IS NOT JUST A SIGN COMPLAINT.
The pedestrian crossings at the intersection of Memorial Dr and Edwin H. Land Blvd are DANGEROUS. I have crossed this intersection numerous times in recent days; often accompanied by my INFANT SON in a stroller. Cars routinely ignore any indication that you are either ABOUT to step on the MARKED pedestrian crossing and/or fail to see you when you are ON the crossing. I have now had several close calls. This intersection needs URGENT attention before someone is KILLED!!! Please bring it to the attention of whomever is responsible. Failure to act on this appeal will render all those who read and chose to ignore this message responsible for the next major INJURY OR DEATH that occurs at this site.
It is also apparent that the crossing is in the process of being fitted with electronic signals. THESE MUST BE FITTED IMMEDIATELY!
(I would have uploaded multiple images to illustrate: taken with a 5 minute period, but your system does not allow pdfs. Very strange.)
Binney St And 6th St Cambridge, MassachusettsThere is a small sinkhole opening. The hole in the asphalt is currently about 4" in diameter, but you can see that the substrate is being hollowed out behind the hole. It is right at the end of 6th St. at the crosswalk at Binney St.

I hope this email reached you well! I wanted to reach out about an issue in the neighborhood that I was hoping you might be able to help with.
Along Gore Street, near the Simoni Ice Skating Rink, East Cambridge Health Center, and Twin City Plaza parking lot, there are a few entrances into the various parking areas. The entrance adjacent to Lambert St has a light, so cars frequently avoid it, and exit very quickly through the other entrances. I have starred them in the map below:
It makes being a pedestrian on Gore Street feel unsafe, and I have narrowly avoided cars whizzing by. It's also adjacent to a child care facility and park, so it would be great to help ensure calmer traffic near children. Would it be possible to get crosswalks and stop signs installed at those alternate entrances?
I very much appreciate your help and would be glad to discuss further if I can be of any help.

133 Second St Cambridge, MA 02141, USAStop signs on 2nd St crossing Charles were not replaced after raised crosswalk was installed. The raised crosswalk is not slowing traffic enough to allow traffic to flow across 2nd St. Traffic on 2nd crossing Charles is also not yielding to traffic already in the intersection from Charles St.
39-51 Spring St Cambridge, MA 02141, USAThe crosswalk at First street & Otis street is extremely dangerous. Cars coming down First street toward the traffic light almost never stop for pedestrians in their race to catch the light - I've seen a lot of near misses. I'm not sure if better signage or enforcement would help but it really needs to be addressed.
262-360 Edwin H Land Blvd Cambridge, MassachusettsDrivers continue to fail to yield for the crosswalk here. A state trooper is here frequently due to construction, yet dies nothing. Please lobby the state to conduct enforcement here before someone dies. I know this is not a city issue, but I know the city actually cares, it might actually happen if the mayor were to call the state and begin to insist.
100 Edwin H Land Blvd Cambridge, MassachusettsAlmost everyday, a car screeches to a halt to avoid hitting a pedestrian in these crosswalks. Please either install traffic lights or enforce traffic laws before someone dies here.
218 Monsignor O'Brien Highway Cambridge, MA 02141, USAWho is responsible for this area? It's at the corner of Winter and third in East Cambridge. It really needs some attention, either from the city or from the landlord. In fact, this whole intersection and the whole stretch from Magrath Highway to Cambridge Street really needs some consideration, especially if CVS is going to be going in on the corner of third and Cambridge Street. between the cars backing in and out of the Dunkin' Donuts and the cars blocking the crosswalk and the intersection of Gore and 3rd it's a horrible place for pedestrians, including all the tourists making their way from the hotels on McGrath Highway to Lechmere. It won't let me post more than one picture, but the the corner across the street next to 17 Winter St. is just as bad
