this bridge has many teavlers every day and is very dangerous to walk over when icy and 12 inches of snow some one needs to clear a safe path
The bridge walkway was never cleared.
Several days (more than a week) after the snowstorm, I saw an older lady trying to walk on 4 inches of uneven ice on my way to work. She ended up having to stop every 5 ft or so.
It seems like Conshohocken doesn't really care.
But, it's 60+ degrees out, and the snow and ice is gone now. Closing this issue now.
storms drains are long and narrow and will accept a bicycle tire causing a nasty accident on a busy bridge/roadway
Here's a picture of what could happen...
That bridge is so narrow, I'd just ride on the sidewalk. Sure its illegal, but I'd rather get ticketed than be hit by some car becuase the lanes are so narrow. Yep, the storm drains could swallow a bike tire with ease.
