Issues: road safety
Thanks! Thanked!213-227 Abbe Ln Clifton, NJ 07013, USA
There are two children that are of Indian heritage about the age 9-12 who galavant through the neighborhood on their push ("Razr") scooters, without helmets (a boy and a girl with long dark hair, pair). They habitually zoom out into the street, cutting off oncoming traffic. I have come close to hitting BOTH children twice in the past few weeks. Neither wear a helmet and they do not look when they dart out from in between cars. They are difficult to see as they move quickly and hide next to or in between parked cars. It is not safe and one or both of them is going to either cause an accident or be part of an accident. I am not only scared for my own safety, but scared for them as well. These two children may live in the 4th house on the left hand side of the street, close to Van Houten Avenue (white house, black & white shutters with pink bricks at their front door - may be #215). Please do something about this. I'm afraid to drive down my own street for fear of injuring these very careless children. (Even blaring the horn on my car today did not deter these two kids from cutting me off as I stopped short to avoid hitting them - they looked at me and laughed). PLEASE, get these kids off the street before they get hit by a car!!!

Gregory Avenue has a stop sign at this intersection but Burgess Place doesn't. Cars are constantly speeding down this street and since Burgess Place tends to curve, its hard to see if any other car is coming or if there are any pedestrians crossing. I live right by this curve and I constantly see dangerous accidents just waiting to happen. There are also a lot of kids around this neighborhood constantly on their bikes and skateboards.
