205 East 16th Street Brooklyn/Kings, New YorkThere is an abandoned lot filled with several broken down cars, automotive parts, garbage, broken basketball hoops, and more garbage. People are dropping off trash and driving away. This is directly across the street from my house and nothing is being done about it. Rats and mice roam freely and besides being a public health hazard, it's a huge eyesore.
691-699 Rugby Road Brooklyn, New YorkThe 'Bishop's Crook" style poles (which the local community raised money to contribute to the installation of) have had posters attached with packing tape.
Which may damage the poles finish when (if they are ever) removed by the business that posted them?
368-376 Argyle Road Brooklyn, New YorkArgyle Road was resurfaced between Cortelyou and Dorchester months ago. The crosswalk at Argyle and Crotelyou Roads was never repainted. Cars regularly stop for red light and park too close to Cortelyou Rd. not leaving room for pedestrians to cross.
560 Ocean Ave Brooklyn, New YorkThis lot has been sitting abandoned for nearly a decade, and is becoming overgrown with brush, and is unsightly, as well as attracts homeless people and drug addicts. Who is responsible for this lot and maintaining it?
1620 Ditmas Ave. Brooklyn, NYFor the past couple of years, there is a flea market taking place in the driveway of 1620 Ditmas Ave (on E. 17 Street). This is a residential street, zoned R1, in a landmarked district. Business is not supposed to be conducted, especially outside the house. The people who run it don't even live in the house. This takes place EVERY Sunday when the weather is good. You know it's Sunday if they're out there selling.
Something must be done. It is illegal and unsightly.
2153 Caton Avenue Brooklyn/Kings, New YorkThis unsecured and perpetually problematic vacant lot has been taken over by a group who has begun using it as a rehearsal space for steel-pans. It is not known if the property owners have given permission to the group to use the lot. As of this morning the lot now has one truck, two cars, tents, porta-johns, iron structures.
A noise compliant was filed last night about the music and noise: Service Request #: C1-1-1145963181
Date Submitted: 08/27/15 9:34:10 PM
The surrounding neighbors would like to know if all permits and permissions are in place. The porta-johns and their maintainnance as well as the late night noise are of deep concern.
2274 Church Avenue Brooklyn/ Kings, NYOn the fence of decommissioned PS 90 are large posters/banners promoting music concerts and businesses.
As per DSNY rules §10-119, §10-121(a-e, g) these posting are illegal.
This is a chronic problem that has escalated over the past 9 months. Have file a previous complaint with DSNY which was cured but similar posters have since returned over time.
Please assist in not only removing the banners currently hung but in enhancing enforcement to improve the chronic situation. Thank you.

It would be more desirable if the production company who have taped all of their notices to the newly installed light-poles used string (instead of tape).
Unless of course they plan to fund repainting each and every pole which will be damaged when the packing tape used to secure the notice tears off the paint?
Can we please have the City of NY make this a rule—this is not the first time this has occurred and has been complained about!?
In this instance this appears to have happened all the way down Rugby Road from Foster Ave to Ave H.
