The bushes planted on the edge of McDonalds property by the entrance/exit road from Farley place hamper the ability to see traffic as it enters into the parking lot. Turn signals cannot be seen, and because cars pull off the road and into the lot at a fairly rapid pace, the exiting driver is suddenly confronted by a car swinging toward them. I would like to see the bushes removed and maybe some flowers or other low landscaping put there for safety reasons.

There is a "no left turn" sign at the end of Major Besse Drive out of THS so all vehicles must use the city owned lower parking lot as a throughway if they need to turn left onto Winthrop Street. This lot is usually full with cars from OWTS students who drive and have no where to park at their school, parents picking up their children, kids who are using the skate park, the many school buses and vans and those who just socialize after school.
At dismissal time this lot is a nightmare to venture through.
And not to mention if there was ever an emergency and an evacuation was in order, there would be close to gridlock conditions in this area.
A traffic light at the end of the driveway would remedy the situation and create a safer envirnment.
The lower parking lot could still be used as an exit but it would be less congested.
This light would also help with speeders going through a school zone.

Drivers turning left from Wyoming Ave. onto Litchfield St. cannot see oncoming traffic headed towards RT 202. The grade of the road is the primary issue. Rate of speed is also a factor. If you drive a small car this increases the danger dramatically.

Hospital Hill (Litchfield St) is a DISGUSTING MESS. This road is in dyer need of paving. Way too much traffic on this road to have it in the condition it's in. It is just HORRIBLE.

Traveling east -- the traffic light at the intersection of East Main and Torringford should allow a right turn on red. The site line is the same or better as traveling west where a turn is allowed and works fine.
In many cases the traffic is backed up to Dibble street and many of the stopped vehicles are turning right. If a right turn was allowed it would relieve much of the backup which is going to be worse when Stop & Shop opens.
