On 12-29-2010, over 38 hours after the end of the last snowstorm, the sidewalk in front of Dunkin Donuts, 223 New Britain Rd., Berlin, CT was still not cleared. The parking lot was cleared. 2 Blind persons w/ guide dogs were HINDERED and unable to continue their walk unaided. This is NOT the first time DD has been negligent concerning snow removal. DD is NOT a good neighbor. We informed the Police, but are not sure that DD was fined, even though DD has been negligent in the past about timely snow removal.

There needs to be more enforcement of leash laws in Golden Gate Park on Sundays. It is great that the close the streets so that people can ride, skate, walk or whatever through that area, but there are too many off-leash dogs.
Dogs are unpredictable, have little traffic sense and present a hazard to bikes. Plus many people (particularly children) are uncomfortable around dogs. Too many dog owners think there dog is just "friendly" but then when it knocks someone over or bites someone they say "oh, it has never done that before".
Leash laws exist for a reason and it is very selfish for people with dogs to endanger others by not obeying them.

Neighborhood has an excess of Pitbulls and German Shepherds that are not always on a leash or who break their leash and attack other dogs. People with small dogs can not walk their dogs in the area as they are afraid their pet will be hurt or killed. Not safe for small children to be around these animals either.
People who live on this street, DeMoss and Maudina drive at excessive speeds when there are children, pets, and walkers who are at risk.
Stray cats are also a problem. People get pets but do not take care of them and often move and leave the pet behind. These are animals that have not been neutered so the cat population growns exponentially.

We live in a secluded part of town with narrow roads, and people including neighbors FLY down our road. Danger to other drivers, walkers, childern and dogs that are on the street on a regular basis

Posted Speed is 25. People drive 45-55 on it regularly, Especially on the straight-away. There are kids, people running and walking their dogs alot. Very popular place for people who don't even live on the street to run there. Having someone barrel past you at that speed is unnerving since the road could be considered rather narrow.
Please post signs to slow down, kids in area, etc. Police patrol now and then might curb these habits too. Finally what is with all the graffiti on the stop signs etc around town. Makes Ridgefield look kinda ghetto? Thanks for your time!
