UPDATE on problem: 11/11/12:
The problem has not improved.
The number of morning rush-hour drivers illegally staying in the left-turn only lanes on West Chester Pike at Lawrence Road and then suddenly switching across the solid white line into the right and left lanes of West Chester Pike in order to enter the northbound Blue Route entrance is a dangerous problem. Sometimes these drivers switch all the way from the left turning lane across all lanes of traffic to get onto the Blue Route going northbound right in the middle of the busy intersection there at the Blue Route entrance and Lawrence Road. Not only is this rude and inconsiderate, it causes danger for drivers in ALL lanes at this intersection, including those sitting and waiting to turn left onto Lawrence Road. These rule breakers think their convenience is more important than everyone else's physical safety, and you can see the results in the number of accidents that occur at this intersection. My car was totaled in the left-turn lane almost two years ago while I was sitting stopped in traffic because some idiot up ahead had come to a complete stop right in the middle of the left-turn only lane to try to switch over to the regular lanes. The person behind me rear-ended me because he didn't expect traffic to be stopped so far back in the turn lane. The solid white line that divides these two left turn lanes from the other lanes of West Chester Pike means that it is ILLEGAL to switch lanes there, people. Perhaps PennDOT needs to put up those yellow stick barriers between the two left turn lanes and the other West Chester Pike lanes leading up to this dangerous intersection in order to FORCE people to follow the rules of the road. Or if that can't be done, maybe they should raise the fines for doing this at this intersection and then enforce the rules by ticketing these dangerous drivers.

There have been two men for the past week with a sign that says they are traveling, broke and hungry. they are either at the off ramp for north bound or south bound exits of the Blue Route. With all the robberies and crime that have been going on in the area the last thing we need are vagrants.

It's a disgrace and it's not the potholes that are the worst of it, the road buckles and the state is too cheap to repave it.
Davis Ave is notorious for speeders. Street signs states 25 and watch children...Drivers do not obey either, and this includes our Postal Service drivers, who are the worst. Combine the speeding and the Franklin Ave intersection, where no one comes to a complete stop..and you have the recipe for a disaster. Come on Marple Police....Lets start patrolling
The Blue Route has so much trash on the side, it's disgusting. I don't remember ever seeing this much. Every grassy area from St. Davids to MacDade Blvd. is loaded with trash. A fine for litterers is great, but you have to catch them first. I used to see the prisoners out there in orange gear cleaning up, but haven't seen them in ages. Can the trash please be cleaned up?

it is amazing how many idiots do not know what a stop sign means, or are they just ignorant! Cars just blow through the stop sign in all three directions at high speeds. I counted one day 45 cars in a row that did not stop. Something has to change before the neighbors take a stand!!!!

This intersection needs to be redone completely. Trying to make a left onto Parkway from Redhill is nearly impossible. Add to the fact the traffic gets backed up from all the cut through traffic trying to make the left. It's also made worse since they have the extended right turn light from Reed Road turning onto Parkway.

Cars driving down Harding Ave from Sproul Rd attempting to turn right at 1st ave cannot see any oncoming cars coming due to large trucks parked there. Park your trucks on Harding Ave where they belong. They degrade the neighborhood and create an unsafe environment!

Drivers coming down Alameda Rd and turning onto Franklin Ave just keep on going and ignore the only stop sign at the intersection. It's not a 3 way stop but they could careless if there's anyone traveling on Franklin Ave. That even includes Marple police

The property owner on the corner of Williamsburg Dr and Sproul Rd (heading south towards the intersection) needs to clean up the shrubs hanging into the road. It is even worse in the summer.
