Bikes are asked to cross Bennelong Parkway at a bend in the road. Poor visibility for drivers and extremely dangerous
We greatly appreciate your interest in SeeClickFix. I am currently interning at the SeeClickFix office in New Haven, Connecticut, United States and have been looking through issues to make sure the correct watch areas have been set up. When searching for the correct contact for Auburn, New South Whales, Australia, I went to the city's official website and searched through the government officials to find who is in charge of public works and transportation, however, since you are a resident of Auburn you have more power than me when it comes to making sure the correct officials are notified and working to fix the issues.
I encourage you to become a SideClick member of SeeClickFix. Below is the link that explains the responsibilities of a SideClick member and the vision SeeClickFix has in advocating local residents like you to become more involved.
If you have any questions, comments, or concerns please feel free to contact me either through SeeClickFix or my email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Hey my patience has paid off. The local authority has now acknowledged the problem.
They have at least blocked off the "Dangerous Bike Crossing" so bikers need to "stop, look and listen" before crossing. This is a step in the right direction. But what is the next step to fix the problem (rather than just remove it temporarily).
