edge o lake area has had brush debris in front of homes for over a month now, councilwoman has been notified to no avail. we need this cleaned up!!!
DONT BOTHER THIS SITE IS A JOKE
So residents have to pay for storm cleanup and the neighborhood looks horrible in the meantime until this is picked up. so much for the neighborhood to look neat and appealing
No and the neighborhood looks awful
Due to the recent flood in Nashville, the brush collection was suspended for 2 months, so the trucks could be utilized to remove storm debris. When the brush collection started back up in July we had to start back in the area that we left off which was "Area 8" to assure that everyone in the county received the same amount of pick ups.
We do have 2 locations brush can be taken to at no charge if you feel you cannot wait until your next collection.
1019 Omohundro Place, 37210 or 1400 County Hospital Road, 37218
If I had a way to get rid of the brush or pay to get rid of it I and the rest of the neighborhood would have done so. Thanks for nothing

We are calling several neighbors but we do not have enough codes people
to handle. This entire area is a huge mess. We need help
Hi...may I ask you a quesiton....have you actually called the Department of Codes and Building Safety for assistance? Our procedure is when we receive a call or a request about a code violation, the first thing we do is ask for the address. We then look up the locaiton in question to see if we have an open or pending case. If not, we will enter in the request, ask you for the specific code violaiton, and once entered it is assigned to the Inspectors Daily Worksheet for inspeciton the next day. We do have enough Inspectors to make inspections.....but if you are asking for an audit of your neighborhood, that will have to be scheduled with the Assistant Director. I wil be more than happy to assist you, and if you could email me directly at email@example.com and provide me with the locations in need of inspection, I can assure you that each property will be inspected and action will be taken until full compliance. also, out Codes On-Line, which I provided the web link to is such a wonderful resource for citizens. Allk they have to do is enter in the address, violaiton, and it wil be inspected, and then you can also check the status of youjr request online. Hope this information helps. Karene

Please be advised that I am in receipt of your request regarding code violations on Irma Drive with vehicles parking in the yards, inoperable vehicles on properties as well as junk in the yard areas.
I will be happy to ask the Property Standards Division to inspect this street for any violations. If specific street numbers could be provided in the future, this would help considerably, as all requests we submit for inspection is entered in a system using actual street numbers, street names or map and parcel numbers.
For future requests for service, please contact our Property Standards Division at 862-6590, or you an visit our online web site to report any violations in your area. The site address is:
