where do I begin.....
- Lawn never gets mowed (yes I mean never)
- Silver metallic tarp that acts as a garage door
- windows broken
- front door pulled off it's hinges and propped up against the opening.
- Overgrown shrubs on the corner of Coram and Waite that make pulling out of Coram St dangerous.
Just when you think this house can't look any worse it does. The house is an eye sore and looks abandoned. Now with the front door proped up against the house I believe it to be a safety issue. If you want to live like a hillbilly you should live in the woods somewhere. Not in a Spring Glen neighborhood.
Ridge Road South Of Old Farm Road Intersection New Haven, Connecticut
In the last couple weeks on Ridge Road I've been tailgated by drivers who think I'm going too slow at 35 mph (the posted limit is 30).
I go slow because Ridge has no sidewalks, and does have runners including those with baby carriages, and it does have bicyclists, and it does have curves, and it does have school zones.
Today while preparing to turn right from Ridge onto Old Farm Road I noticed a car so close behind me I appeared to be towing it.
Two weeks ago there was a three-car accident on Ridge involving somebody speeding, somebody coming in from a side street without stopping, and somebody in the other lane minding her own business. All three drivers were taken away in ambulances.
What the heck is going on?
Is a formerly quiet, tree-shaded, residential street with few stoplights being abandoned to its own worst drivers?
Stop And Shop New Haven, Connecticut
The exit from the Stop and Shop parking lot onto Elm Street needs to be fixed. It's almost impossible to pull out onto Elm without dragging the bottom of your bumper, no matter how slowly you take it.
Farnam Drive Hamden, Connecticut
The nature of this curving main street is that the numerous potholes are not visible until a driver is right on them, if then. I have called Hamden PW, who say these horrendous blowout-producers in Farnum Drive are New Haven's responsibility, and have called New Haven PW, who say they are Hamden's responsibility. In other words, NO ONE IS RESPONSIBLE. Should we call in the National Guard?
37 Hilltop Road New Haven, CT
The recycle bin that belongs to 35 HIlltop Road was not pick up on MOnday. I am reported this problem because this has laso happened to me SEVERAL TIMES. I did report it to the City of New Haven. I spoke with one of the men who work on the truck and he states that he cannot see them. The regular trah pick NEVER NEVER NEVER has left out our trah cans. The problem also is that we lib=ne our trah cans and recycle bins in FRONT of my house nad I donot want them staying there ALL WEEK ONG because they cannot look over to the right and see these BIG BRIGHT BLUE CANS. We live in a culdesac and evrything is in eye view. WE are really getting VERY TIRED of this.

The timer on these new lights at Whitney and Waite need to be adjusted. You sit for several minutes on Waite waiting for the light to change even at odd hours when there are no cars on Whitney Ave at all.
