Sound School New Haven, CT
We love tihs trail! The only problem is the space to get on the trail from the parking lot of the sound school is very narrow (we ride xtracycle and a Madsen) and there is a yellow metal pipe protruding from the ground. There is a gate for NH water pollution? for access to a pump house. A slight reconfiguring of the entrance would make it safer to jump on this trail. I tried to follow the ECG trail an dit looks like it used to go around the baseball field, but possibly is being diverted due to the construction on the bridge. Does anyone know if the actual trail takes you down Hallock Ave and not Sea Street?
Howard Ave And Fifth New Haven, CT
The traffic light at the intersection of Howard Ave and 5th St. is on blink (sides facing 5th St. are on red, sides facing Howard Ave. are on yellow). It is very hazardous...you can't see what is coming south on Howard Ave because of the cars parked and it is also difficult to see what is coming over the Howard Ave. bridge until the last minute. It creates a horrible traffic jam when Gateway's classes get out - traffic is backed up from the intersection of Sargent and Long Wharf Dr.
